The Man III occurrence is located on the south side of Waldon Creek.

The area is underlain by Devonian Nitinat Formation (Sicker Group) volcanics and Mississippian to Pennsylvanian Fourth Lake Formation (Buttle Lake Group) sediments intruded by sills, dikes and granitic rocks, probably of the Jurassic Island Plutonic Suite. The area is highly faulted and major folds are present. The Paleozoic Sicker Group rocks have undergone greenschist metamorphism.

The showing is underlain by massive basaltic flows, vesicular flows, tuffs, andesitic tuffs, cherty tuffs and argillite. Granodiorite and diorite plugs are exposed on the property.

Locally, a shear zone hosts heavy malachite staining.

In 1986, International Cherokee Development completed a program of geochemical sampling, geological mapping, prospecting and ground geophysical surveys as the Cow 7 claim. A sample (352) yielded values of 17.6 grams per tonne silver, 1.4 grams per tonne gold and 1.58 per cent copper (Assessment Report 16053).

In 1998, the area was prospected by R. Walton as the Lookout and Man claims. A sample of chlorite schist feldspar porphyry, near the shear zone, yielded values of 325 parts per billion gold and 4720 parts per million copper. This work also identified jasper boulders and an area of iron formation, 350 metres up slope and to the southwest, on a logging road near a reported rhodonite occurrence on the Man I claim.
